Willowbrook Shopping Centre

Willowbrook Shopping Centre is a suburban mall in Greater Vancouver and like most suburban malls it had a large parking lot lit with old, unattractive high pressure sodium area lighting.  When the management of Willowbrook Shopping Centre wanted to clean up the exterior image of the mall, a brighter, whiter, more inviting parking lot seemed like a great first step.  By changing 240 luminaires from 400W high pressure sodium to LED, they not only achieved the nice clean, bright feeling they were looking for, but also realized a 70% energy saving and virtually eliminated all lighting maintenance for five years.
