Lutron Energi TriPak
Sense, Adjust, and Conserve with Lutron's Energi TriPak™
Energi TriPak™ is a control system for single spaces such as classrooms, private offices and conference rooms. Energi TriPak includes wireless occupancy / vacancy and daylight sensors, wireless personal controls, and load controllers. Together, these devices sense, adjust, and conserve. There are several load controller options that all work with Pico® wireless controls and Radio Powr Savr™ sensors to enhance energy savings and the usability of a space. The wireless technology of these devices allows for simple installation in new construction or retrofit applications.
Daylight Harvesting
The battery-powered, ceiling-mount daylight sensor saves energy by dimming or turning off electric lighting when sufficient daylight is available. The sensor detects light in the space and then wirelessly transmits the appropriate commands to the load controller which then adjust the lights.
Occupancy Sensing
Saving energy becomes much easier when you don't have to invest a lot of time or effort. Wireless occupancy/vacancy sensors take care of the work for you by automatically dimming or shutting off lights and adjusting HVAC settings when no one is using the room. The sensors require no wiring, so installation is a snap.
Personal Control
Flexible and easy-to-use, the Pico® wireless control works with any Energi TriPak™ load controller, is battery powered and requires no wiring, making it easy to install and maintain. It can be used as a hand-held remote, a tabletop control mounted on a pedestal, or as a wall-mounted control within a Lutron Claro® faceplate.
Applications for the Lutron Energi TriPak™
Classrooms
The PowPak™ dimming module with EcoSystem® creates the perfect learning environment. Pico® wireless controls allow teachers to adjust the lights at the entrance and near the whiteboard. A Radio Powr Savr™ daylight sensor changes the electric light output according to available daylight, automatically reducing glare for students and teachers.
Private Offices
Use a Maestro Wireless® switch to enhance the environment and save energy in private offices. Use a Radio Powr Savr wireless occupancy/vacancy sensor to automatically turn on lights when the space is occupied and turn off lights when the space is vacant. Add a Pico wireless control at the door and on the desk to manually control lighting.
Restrooms
In public spaces such as restrooms, lighting is often left on, even when the space is unoccupied. PowPak relay module with Softswitch® switches loads based on room occupancy information received from Radio Powr Savr occupancy/vacancy sensors.
